FAQ
We encourage all clients to always feel free to ask questions and help from us before and after purchasing a puppy from Heritage Welsh Corgi Homes. We are available for assistance 24/7.
Routine Care, Diet, and Exercise
Build her routine care into your schedule to help your Corgi live longer, stay healthier, and be happier during her lifetime. We cannot overemphasize the importance of a proper diet and exercise routine. She needs a thorough brushing at least weekly most of the year.
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is known as one of the most agreeable small house dogs and is a loyal, loving pet for families. They also are known for their intelligence and enthusiasm for working. Many Pembrokes compete in dog sports, such as agility, herding, conformation, obedience, and more.
My adult Corgis generally get a total of 1 1/2 to 2 cups of dry food with warm water poured over it one time daily in the morning during the summer months and twice daily in the winter. The amount is scaled to the physical activity of the dog.
Corgis will reach their full height around a year old. Most Corgis will be close to their full size around the same time, but some puppies may need up to two years to completely fill out their chest. However, you can expect your Corgi to be close to their adult weight around a year old.
